First of all, the entrance of the restaurant is very inviting with a few artificial Sakura trees greeting you as you enter the inviting, upscale, clean and cheerful atmosphere, the servers are all there to help your every need, they're very friendly and make sure you have a great experience therefore, when it comes to atmosphere this place is a winner. The food was beyond believe it's really worth the price which is not very high, I started with the sushi which was fresh, delicious, well presented and was full of choices, then I went to the seafood section and the crabs were huge and delicious, that's without mentioning the shells, snails, shrimp those were all very fresh and delicious but the winner for me was the snails because they were tender which is something difficult to find and last I tried the grilled meats sections and ramen and remember DO NOT skip the ramen, they have a wide variety of ingredients and the broths they have are incredible. I didn't get to try the hotpot because I was too full and happy but I will definitely go back and try a few more things I didn't get to try. Overall, this is a great place to go, very clean, fun, full of great food and drinks but the main thing is the service, the staff really made me feel like a king I will definitely go back

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! I celebrated my birthday there, and the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious and truly authentic, offering a delightful mix of various Asian cuisines all in one place—definitely good value for the price. The staff was incredibly friendly, always attentive and smiling, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday! You really have to check it out for yourself; the restaurant is fully dedicated to satisfying your needs. I give it two big thumbs up, and I can't wait to return soon. Xie Xie!

We arrived at 11:30 am, and there was already a line forming. The best strategy for those who avoid waiting is to come right at the opening time. By the time we finished eating, the line was spilling outside, a testament to the restaurant's popularity! They have a cold tea fridge stocked with a variety of options, but if you decide to bring your tea outside the establishment, there's a 3 charge per item. The restaurant opens daily at 11 am and does not take reservations. Notably, they provide one hot pot for every two people. The food selection is impressive, and we couldn’t possibly try everything because we were so full! The quality was exceptional, with a vast array of offerings in this massive buffet. You’ll find everything from sushi and BBQ to ramen, hot pot, drinks, desserts, and an assortment of seafood, including snow crab legs and abalone. The sushi here is significantly better than what you find at typical all-you-can-eat sushi buffets — definitely worth the drive. The servers were fantastic, friendly, and efficiently replaced our plates.

This place was great! Deserves higher than a 4 star like most people seem to be leaving. I'm always hesitant when it comes to buffets but this restaurant is so clean as are the displays and fresh food is constantly coming out. Incredible amount of sushi, sashimi, unique salads, shellfish, snails, hot foods, fried foods, personal mini hot pots, unlimited bubble tea (many flavors available, their Thai tea is the best I've had, very floral), desserts, etc. The pictures don't do it justice. I tried a lot of first time foods and I got hooked on, what I think was pickled mackerel with the roe sac still attached. Service was great, Tinny took care of us and kept us politely on schedule (2 hour dining is all that is allowed). I was texting friends and family about this place while I was sitting there. Can't wait to go back! Parking is also very easy. We went right when they opened, 11am, and they were on a wait by the time we left, 1pm. Started to fill up around 12ish.

Clean & wonderful space with tons of offerings. Delicious, fresh food -- seafood, hot pot, ramen, BBQ, sushi, and more! AYCE for 39.99 on the weekends. Highly recommend getting there shortly before 11:00 to be first in line.

We chose this restaurant because coming feom a landlocked state, we wanted seafood. Umi did NOT disappoint! The quality and variety of foods was unmatched! It was both the most upscale (food) and most fun (atmosphere) buffet! If you love seafood and a variety of Asian foods, you can't go wrong eating here. They had a really fun and cute birthday song and light-up sign to wish people happy birthday. From hotpot to sushi to ramen to boba milk teas, ramune, and other drinks to desserts and hot dishes...everything was fabulous. I'm SO glad we came here, and I wish we lived nearby so we could be regulars. 15/10 hands down. If we're ever in the area again we will for sure be going to Umi.

I celebrated my best friends cousins birthday with friends and family at Umi Premium Sushi Buffet in Rockville MD. It’s a good thing we entered ourselves on the call ahead list their phone app, cause the place was packed. Despite the organized chaos the staff does a great job keeping the place clean and food items replenished. We paid 50.00 per person for the unlimited which includes Ramen, Hot Soup Stations, Sushi, Meats, Veggies, Seafood and Boba/Flavored Teas galore. We really enjoyed ourselves and for the love of God please call ahead if you want to get in within less than a 30 minute wait time. Cheers!!!!!
